🎓 What grades does Valor currently offer?
We currently welcome students in Kindergarten through Grade 2. We plan to expand by one grade level each year as our community grows.
🌍 Do you accept students from all nationalities?
Yes. We are an international school open to students of all nationalities and backgrounds. We warmly welcome globally mobile families, as well as Japanese families—with or without overseas experience—who are seeking a values-based, future-ready education.

🗓 Does Valor have rolling admissions?
Yes. We offer a rolling admissions process, allowing families to apply throughout most of the academic year. This flexibility supports international moves and different school calendars.
🏫 Can we tour the campus?
Absolutely. We offer in-person campus tours year-round, as well as virtual meetings for families living abroad. Please contact us to schedule a time.

🌐 What language is instruction delivered in?
All core subjects are taught in English. Valor provides an English-medium education, with additional language support available based on student needs.
🇯🇵 Is instruction in Japanese also provided?
Yes. Japanese language classes are an essential part of our identity as an international school in Yokohama. We are committed to raising up the next generation in Japan with strong roots in both global fluency and local connection.
🗣️ Does a parent need to speak English?
No. While English is the language of instruction at Valor, parents do not need to be fluent in English to be part of our school community. We understand that many of our families may be native Japanese speakers, and we are prepared to support communication through translation and bilingual materials where needed.
We want every parent to feel informed, welcomed, and included—regardless of language background.
