Valor’s Accreditation Path & Commitment to Excellence

From the beginning, Valor International School has been committed to building not just a school, but a community grounded in clarity, rigor, and integrity. As a newly established institution, our focus is on laying strong foundations that support long-term excellence.

We are preparing to pursue accreditation with the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) — a globally recognized accrediting body. In our inaugural year, we are developing systems that align with WASC’s rigorous standards, including:

  • A clear vision, mission, and governance structure that guides decision-making
  • Robust student assessment and data systems to support and measure learning
  • Ongoing teacher development aligned with Valor’s educational goals
  • A culture of continuous improvement through reflection and evaluation

Our goal is to apply for WASC candidacy in 2027, following our first full academic year of operation. While some details may evolve as we grow, our commitment remains constant:

We are honored to announce that Valor International School has been named an Affiliate School of Christian Academy in Japan (CAJ) – a trusted leader in international Christian education with over 75 years of proven academic excellence in Japan.

This affiliation is a significant milestone in our growth as a new school and reflects our shared commitment to high standards in academics, leadership, and spiritual formation. It connects Valor with a broader legacy of educational excellence and provides us with the structure, insight, and support of one of the most respected international schools in the region.
